Acquired in March 2017, Miller Container Corporation is the most recent addition to the LDI family of companies. Miller Container was founded in 1959 by Tom Miller. Tom was able to utilize his winnings from the Irish Sweepstakes and start the long lasting foundation of Miller Container. To this day, Aggressor, the horse that crossed the finish line for Tom, is part of our company logo. As one of the largest full service independent corrugated converters in the United States, Miller Container started out as a sheet plant manufacturing cartons for the food and ag industry. Over the last 5 years, Miller Container has invested over $20,000,000 in state of the art technology to service all types of industry. Today, the Miller Container Team has grown to over 470 employees strong. Each team member plays a key part in dazzling our customers across the United States.

Liberty Carton Company is LDI’s flagship company and a nationally recognized designer and manufacturer of packaging solutions, including traditional corrugated shipping containers, custom-designed point-of-purchase displays, protective packaging, hazardous materials packaging and retail packaging including product fulfillment, distribution and warehousing. Liberty Carton employs nearly 700 individuals throughout operations in Minnesota, Texas and Mexico.

Liberty Paper, Inc.

Liberty Paper, Inc. (LPI) joined the Liberty Diversified International (LDI) family in 1995. LPI is a state-of-the-art paper mill that recycles more than 250,000 tons of old corrugated cardboard (OCC) containers, annually, into new paper for packaging. LPI’s commitment to using 100 percent recycled paper reflects our commitment to sustainable, eco-friendly operations and products. One of LPI’s innovative products is Dreamworks Coating Solutions which offers a wide range of coated papers, ranging from bright whites and colors to functional coatings such as grease and oil barriers and release papers. A reflection of our commitment to constant innovation in meeting our customers’ needs. LPI employs nearly 150 employees.

Mayline was founded in 1939, manufacturing drafting tables as the Engineering Supply Company. Today, Mayline is one of the leading mid-market contract furniture manufacturers in the U.S., offering a complete collection of office furniture, filing, storage and customized solutions. As one of our most recent acquisitions (October 2016), Mayline is headquartered and manufactures the majority of its products in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, with a distribution center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mayline employs approximately 220 people.

Safco is a leader in providing innovative and cost-effective products for the office environment. We create workspaces that energize and inspire people. Employing more than 120 individuals in total, our headquarters are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota with distribution centers in Kennesaw, Georgia; Riverside, California; and Windsor, Virginia.

Omaha Box Company began production in East Omaha as a wooden box manufacturer in 1890. By the early 1930s, they added corrugated paper to their process and today, operate solely as a corrugated manufacturer. Following four generations of family ownership, Omaha Box Company was acquired by LDI in 2016. The company continues its heritage as a full-service, independent corrugated manufacturer, specializing in design, custom-made cartons, point-of-purchase displays and warehousing. Today, Omaha Box comprises more than 50 employees.

The operating companies of Verscene – Quarrix and Diversiplast – are driven to create, innovate and transform our respective industries. We strive to exceed customer expectations and offer unique products and services to the marketplace. Diversiplast provides custom design, prototyping, extrusion and fabrication of corrugated plastic packaging and material-handling solutions across a multitude of industries and uses. Quarrix Building Products is a leading manufacturer of high-quality specialty roofing materials, including ridge vent, composite roof tile and a full suite of roof ventilation accessories. Verscene employs a combined total of nearly 100 individuals at our headquarters in Golden Valley, Minnesota and our manufacturing facility in Baldwyn, Mississippi.

Southern Diversified Industries (SDI) is the manufacturing arm of Verscene and is located in Baldwyn, Mississippi. Established in 1984, SDI extrudes plastic resins into rolls of plastic that are sold either in the original rolled state or in sheet stock and manufactured on site into corrugated plastic products for a variety of companies east of the Rockies. SDI comprises approximately 60 full-time employees and operates 24 hours a day across 3 shifts, 5 days a week.
